Birds land right outside your window
Your garden stays quiet, and the birds keep their distance. The Birdhaven feeder brings colour and life right outside your window, where you can watch over your morning coffee.
A small bird lands, pecks at the food and stays for a while. Hang Birdhaven wherever you like: on a branch, a veranda hook or a trellis pole. The curved roof keeps the food dry, and the open tray below gives the birds a place to stand while they eat. The roof extends over the tray on all four sides, so rain runs off instead of soaking the food.
- ✓ Turn a quiet view into daily birdwatching: Hang it where you already sit. The open sides give you an unobstructed view of every visitor, without distracting bars.
- ✓ No soggy, wasted food after rain: The curved roof protects the tray from above, keeping the food dry and fresh.
- ✓ Birds have a place to linger: The built-in tray also serves as a perch. Small birds land and feed for minutes at a time, long enough for you to watch.
- ✓ Hangs in under a minute: One loop, one hook. Move it from the garden to the veranda to the window whenever you want a closer look.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take for birds to find it?
Usually a few days to a few weeks. Birds need time to discover a new feeder. Hang it near a shrub or tree so they can approach safely.
What food works best?
Black sunflower seeds attract the widest range of small garden birds. A simple seed mix works too. Fill the tray about halfway so nothing spills over the edge.
Where should I hang it?
In a spot with a clear view but cover nearby. About three to four metres from a bush or tree is ideal. Keep it away from windows that reflect the sky.
Can squirrels get in?
Squirrels can reach most hanging feeders. Access is much harder for them on a thin branch or pole fitted with a squirrel baffle.
