Turn kitchen scraps into soil your plants will love
You want healthier plants, but no extra garden work. The RootCycle worm composter sits right in your garden bed, and you simply add fruit and vegetable scraps.
Worms crawl in through the mesh openings and leave their castings right next to plant roots, exactly where they're most useful. No pile to turn, no bucket to carry through the garden. The stainless steel with 360-degree ventilation won't rust underground.
- ✓ Nutrients right by the roots: Worm castings end up just a few inches from the root zone instead of in a pile somewhere across the garden.
- ✓ No more scraps in the trash: Toss in banana peels, carrot tops, and lettuce stems. No bin to empty, no pile to turn.
- ✓ The worms do the work: Worms move in and out through the openings on their own. No mixing or turning needed.
- ✓ 360-degree ventilation keeps everything airy: Air flows through every side, so scraps break down instead of rotting. The lid keeps animals out.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to buy worms, or will they find their way in on their own?
In most garden soils, earthworms already in the ground find the composter on their own within a few weeks. In new or very sandy soil, a handful of composting worms from a garden center can help get things started faster.
What can go in?
Fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, and crushed eggshells work well. Don't put in meat, dairy products, oil, or heavily salted foods, as they can cause odors and attract pests.
Does it smell or attract animals?
Buried scraps decompose underground with airflow and produce little odor. With the lid closed and buried deep enough, animals can't get to them.
What happens in winter?
In cold soil, worm activity slows down, so scraps decompose more slowly. You can continue adding them in smaller amounts; decomposition will pick up again in spring as the soil warms.
